Although numerous publications on the Ixodidae have been presented to the scientific community, they are usually focused in one or at best, just a few aspects of tick biology; whether this is taxanomy, ecology, biogeography, disease transmision etc. In this website we try to bring all of this scattered information together on a species-reference level and provide a detailed accout for every species.
